The main purpose of the Jazz Duets Series is to provide saxophonists with material that is fun to play that explores some of the many and varied styles found in jazz today. Special attention has been placed on articulation and dynamics throughout. Each book contains a section of essential tips for the sax player/musician.
An audio CD is available for each book that can aid practice with each saxophone panned left and right so that any part can be isolated.

Easy Jazz duets is ideal for saxophonists who are just starting out and want a fun introduction to duet playing in the jazz idiom. The 12 short pieces explore simple Jazz, Blues and Rock styles and are grade 1 - 2 standard. Also includes tips for the saxophonist.

Intermediate Jazz duets contains 12 original jazz duets for the saxophone, providing saxophonists of moderate ability with enjoyable material that explores some of the many interesting and varied styles found in jazz today; Mainstream/Odd-meter Swing, Blues, Latin, Calypso, Jazz Waltz. The pieces use up to and including 3 sharps/flats and are grade 3 - 4 standard. Also includes tips on saxophone technique, musicianship and practice.

Advanced Jazz duets is for saxophonists who are experienced players in the jazz idiom. New styles introduced to the series include: Dixie, Bebop and Funk. The 12 pieces are challenging and fun to play and are grade 5 - 8 standard.
Also includes advanced tips for the saxophonist.

The Audio CD contains playalong/listening tracks of all three books.Each Saxophone is panned to a different speaker for compete Audio separation making it possible to hear either the top or low part in isolation. Additional slower versions of some of the trickier duets are also included to facilitate ease of use and enjoyability.
